The only set times during the nursery day are snack, lunch and rest time. Other activities are planned around the children's interests and responses.

To promote the development of healthy eating habits sugary snacks or drinks are not provided. Sometimes the children squeeze their own orange juice from juicing oranges for their snack. Each child is provided with his or her own bottle of water fitted with a sport’s cap so that they can help themselves to a drink of water whenever they are thirsty without the need to leave their play activities. Snack foods for the week are displayed on the main nursery notice board. Children are given two different snack food items during the morning session from a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy produce. At lunch and snack times we provide children with crockery, cutlery and glassware.
There is always an opportunity for children to have time for free play both inside and outside.
